Alia Bhatt's Mehendi Artist SLAMS Karan Johar For Saying That Actress' Wedding Mehendi Is Same As The One In RARKPK- Check It Out!
Veena Nagda has called out Karan Johar for comparing Alia Bhatt's real-life wedding mehendi and the one in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani wedding sequence
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is currently over the moon as his directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is receiving love from all the corners. However, he recently came under the scanner when he stated that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's wedding sequence in the movie is the same as Rabir Kapoor and Alia's real-life wedding. He had gone on to state that even the actress' mehendi is the same. Now, renowned mehendi artist Veena Nagda has slammed him and pointed out how she made modifications to the mehendi in the movie.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Nagda has shared proofs. Sharing photos of Alia's from the movie and her real-life mehendis she pointed out the differences. It can be seen while for the movie, the actress' wrist is detailed with henna, for her wedding she kept her wrists bare. Slamming Karan, a portion of her long caption read, “Not at all taking away any credits from the previous designer. We mentioned that we applied mehendi on the set of the movie. For the unversed, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani follows the journey of Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chatterjee, who hail from contrasting family backgrounds. In order to get married they come up with a plan to stay with each others’ families so that they can get to know each other better. The movie marks the directorial comeback of Karan Johar and stars Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and many more in pivotal roles. Talking about Alia Bhatt, she tied the knot with the love of her life and longtime boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family. They announced their first pregnancy in June 2022 and welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November 2022.
